With a suite of Fixed and Sliding Head capabilities UFC can produce precise diameters and depths to produce tubular components and a wide range of geometries to meet customer needs.
FANUC controlled CNC Milling at UFC enables computerised controls and rotating multi-point cutting tools to progressively remove material from the workpiece and produce a custom-designed part or product to exacting customer needs.
Our grinding capabilities ensure workpieces are finished to a high surface quality with accuracy of shape and dimension.
With capabilities to produce thread and route radius components with RollsRoyce and Boeing specification approval.
Suitable for data logging for safety, warranty management and to satisfy regulatory requirements, UFC offers comprehensive part marking capability to permanently mark parts with product information including serial numbers, part numbers, date codes and barcodes. Ensuring traceability across the entire part lifespan of the part, which in the aerospace sector can be over 30 years, UFC marks are permanently etched or stamped.
Ensuring comprehensive quality standards management, UFC operates hydraulic presses to support a range of testing procedures including torque, hardness and instrom testing. From February 2020 we have a new Light Measuring Machine that will enable rapid inspection of complex parts giving accurate reports of all external features including threads, radii, diameters and length.
