UFC Aerospace are based in Rochford Essex working out of a 11,000ft² facility.
In December 2003, Satair Aerospace acquired Lentern (Aircraft) Limited. Satair grew the business and invested in new machinery until the business was acquired by BE Aerospace in January 2012.
Following the change of ownership, the company then merged its two sites together, closing Sevenoaks and expanding the current site on Purdeys Way Industrial Estate (Southend). BE Aerospace changed its strategic direction and moved away from manufacturing components, thus the business was transferred to KLX. Over time KLX chose to invest in its distribution networks and reduce its interests in manufacturing. KLX placed UFC Aerospace on the market to be sold in 2015.
UFC was acquired by AF Fasteners Limited in July 2016 with a vision to extend and complement its existing product range, offering customers a wider variety and one stop solution for their fastener requirements. Since the acquisition in July 2016, UFC has been trading as UFC Aerospace Europe Limited.
